Hi my name is Helen and I am the presenter of the Friday Feeling show on a Friday evening 6-8pm.

I love everything that’s good about life, born and bred in West Oxfordshire. I grew up and lived my childhood in Carterton going to school at Carterton County Primary and the Comprehensive school also. I am told often that I have a very distinctive Pam Ayres accent.

I worked in the Coop supermarket in Carterton for many years which is where I met my husband of nearly 30 years Rick (flipping heck you get less for murder) and we have two children Jenie and Jack.

I have worked for Thames Valley Police as a community Police Officer for nearly 14 years and am passionate about community stuff, helping out many organizations in and out of work. You may well have seen me over the years stood in the middle of the road directing traffic or wandering around West Oxfordshire smiling and talking to anyone who cares to listen!!

I love listening to music, in particular dance and disco which is why when I was given the opportunity to do a radio show I jumped at the chance. Now I get to unleash my music taste on anyone who cares to listen.

Listen to me every Friday from 6-8 pm, why? Because it symbolizes the end of the working week and kick-starts the weekend and because music always sounds better on Fridays.
