Witney and District Museum – Family History Day

A chance to view some of our rarely seen records and have help with your family tree!

There’s a wealth of material at the museum for those interested in family or local history. Including the only known surviving register of inmates at Witney Union Workhouse, covering 1839 to 1841.

An advisor from the Oxfordshire Family History will be at the museum to help you start your own family tree, or give advice on continuing your research.
