Witney Readers Review

Having met through a local women’s group a small subgroup of around 7 women formed with a mutual desire to share their love of reading.
Our first meeting was held one evening in May 2018 in a local Witney establishment. At the meeting each member brought along suggestions of books we might cover. We also agreed that as very busy working ladies we would give ourselves plenty of time to read the books, thus agreeing to meet every 6 weeks. We also wanted to ensure that everyone was happy to discuss each book at the subsequent meeting, even if they had not completed reading it. We exchanged telephone numbers and email address. We even set-up a Whats-app group. The first few titles were decided upon.
Our first meeting was to discuss the first novel ‘Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine’ by Gail Honeyman.
This show presented by Laura follows the books that the Witney Readers review. Providing summary and snippets from the novel, without giving anything vital away we review this novel for anyone who might be interested in reading it or joining us in our shared love of reading. All novels reviewed are given marks out of ten by the group at the end of a meeting. We will also invite comment from our listeners on the novels and suggestions of books to add to our list of reads.
